ONEPLACE: Introduce yourself.

SHAYNE:I'm AbdulWahab Ayoola Shayne

ONEPLACE: How old?

SHAYNE:17 in October

ONEPLACE: Your family background?

 

SHAYNE:I'm the only son in a family of 4. One girl, one boy!

SHAYNE:I hail from Kogi state, Nigeria.

ONEPLACE: So do you sing, rap or produce?

SHAYNE:Well, I sing, rap and produce.

ONEPLACE: Wow.

SHAYNE:Lol well, I haven't released a song of me singing, but people know me more as a rapper and a producer.

ONEPLACE: How do you combine all of them?

SHAYNE:Lol, yeah.. Started singing at 9, moved on to rapping at 11 then started laying my hands on production when I was almost 15.

ONEPLACE: What inspired you??

SHAYNE:Hmmn let me just say I've always loved music since childhood! It has always been in me.

ONEPLACE: Are you supported by your family??

SHAYNE:Yes! Full support and I'm so happy about that.

ONEPLACE: what year did you begin your career in music??

SHAYNE:Started at the age of 13 with a Gospel group called "Dreamstarz"

ONEPLACE: Wow, And how did you come up with the name "SHAYNE"?

SHAYNE:It's an English name sorta. It’s one of my names. It means God is gracious.

ONEPLACE: So what artist’s, have you worked with so far??

SHAYNE:I've worked with Chocolate City's Brymo, big brother africa's Vina, Izzy & Loopey records diva Lindsey.

SHAYNE:Worked with some other good artistes on new tracks I haven't released.

ONEPLACE: How many released songs do you have??

SHAYNE:I've released 3 songs so far.

ONEPLACE: Namely?

SHAYNE:My debut single was Problems Away ft. Lindsey.

SHAYNE:Second single was I don't know with Izzy.

SHAYNE:And third single was I will rise ft Brymo & Vina

ONEPLACE: Are you in school?

SHAYNE:Yeah I'm a 200Level student at Babcock University.

SHAYNE:Studying computer information systems.

ONEPLACE: How do you combine, school and music??

SHAYNE:It's really tough, I try my best to combine both but God will take control.

ONEPLACE: So what should we be expecting from SHAYNE?

SHAYNE:Hmmmn a lot. I can't say for now. But y'all should expect much more.

SHAYNE:Was on the ovation red carol theme song last year alongside wizkid, iceprince, waje, sir shina peters, eva, yemi alade e.tc.

ONEPLACE: What do you think about oneplace?

SHAYNE:This is my third time hearing about it.. I don't really know much about it but from what I've heard, I guess it's a really cool site.
