SHAYNE:I'm AbdulWahab Ayoola Shayne
ONEPLACE: How old?
SHAYNE:17 in October
ONEPLACE: Your family
background?
SHAYNE:I'm the only son in a family
of 4. One girl, one boy!
SHAYNE:I hail from Kogi state,
Nigeria.
ONEPLACE: So do you sing, rap
or produce?
SHAYNE:Well, I sing, rap and
produce.
ONEPLACE: Wow.
SHAYNE:Lol well, I haven't released
a song of me singing, but people know me more as a rapper and a producer.
ONEPLACE: How do you combine
all of them?
SHAYNE:Lol, yeah.. Started singing
at 9, moved on to rapping at 11 then started laying my hands on production when
I was almost 15.
ONEPLACE: What inspired you??
SHAYNE:Hmmn let me just say I've
always loved music since childhood! It has always been in me.
ONEPLACE: Are you supported
by your family??
SHAYNE:Yes! Full support and I'm so
happy about that.
ONEPLACE: what year did you
begin your career in music??
SHAYNE:Started at the age of 13 with
a Gospel group called "Dreamstarz"
ONEPLACE: Wow, And how did
you come up with the name "SHAYNE"?
SHAYNE:It's an English name sorta.
It’s one of my names. It means God is gracious.
ONEPLACE: So what artist’s,
have you worked with so far??
SHAYNE:I've worked with Chocolate
City's Brymo, big brother africa's Vina, Izzy & Loopey records diva
Lindsey.
SHAYNE:Worked with some other good artistes
on new tracks I haven't released.
ONEPLACE: How many released
songs do you have??
SHAYNE:I've released 3 songs so far.
ONEPLACE: Namely?
SHAYNE:My debut single was Problems
Away ft. Lindsey.
SHAYNE:Second single was I don't
know with Izzy.
SHAYNE:And third single was I will
rise ft Brymo & Vina
ONEPLACE: Are you in school?
SHAYNE:Yeah I'm a 200Level student
at Babcock University.
SHAYNE:Studying computer information
systems.
ONEPLACE: How do you combine,
school and music??
SHAYNE:It's really tough, I try my
best to combine both but God will take control.
ONEPLACE: So what should we
be expecting from SHAYNE?
SHAYNE:Hmmmn a lot. I can't say for
now. But y'all should expect much more.
SHAYNE:Was on the ovation red carol
theme song last year alongside wizkid, iceprince, waje, sir shina peters, eva,
yemi alade e.tc.

about oneplace?
SHAYNE:This is my third time hearing
about it.. I don't really know much about it but from what I've heard, I guess

OnePlace : How did you guys come together ???
Tastee : YBB started with three of us ; DennyP, Taio-Lowkey and Myself. We stay in the same house, you can call us family. Hurricane joined later because that nigga got too much talent , we couldn't just let such talent go to waste.
OnePlace : How did you guys come up with the name - YBB ???
DennyP : We were first of all known as Fwesh Kids when we did the cover to Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow which was our first song together. On the run, myself and Tastee were just messing around the house giving different poinions about changing the name because it was everywhere. Then we came about Y.B.B. (Young Bullet Boiz) Because we are the guys with the gun and the bullet dey your body. LOL.
OnePlace : So what Year did you come into the industry ???
Tastee : I started from church but i did my first feature when i was fifteen (15) years old.
Hurricane : I started last Year.DennyP : I started in 2009 with my single - Move That Ass.
Taio-lowkey : I started in 2009.
OnePlace : So how many tracks do you have together ???
Taio-lowkey : 4
Oneplace : Namely ???
DennyP : I want it all.
Tastee : Jekajo, Isale Eko and Say Hello.
OnePlace : So what School and Year are You ???
Hurricane : I'm not in school yet.
Tastee : I was at Yabatech but I left because the school could not help me and my music and i was a target of Cultists, plus i'm presently trying to get into Unilag.Taio-lowkey : I'm in Yabatech presently, my second Year.
DennyP : Working my way to Babcock University.
OnePlace : So, are you supported by your families ???
DennyP : Yeah, back then my mum, but being an hustler atm, i have to do my own thing
Tastee : My Mum knows that i sing but she's not in support of the idea of me being in the Nigerian music industry.
Hurricane : Yes, my Mum and Dad support me all the way.
OnePlace : How do you combine School with music ???
Hurricane : I'm not in school but i still have to read for my entrance exams and shii, But its not easy you just have to know what you want.
Taio-lowkey : Well, its not been easy for me, when they are in studio i would be in school particularly when they are having a show, i have to miss school to join them and in the process i miss lectures a lot. But its not easy, You just have to know what you want and be real.
OnePlace : How do you handle the girls ???
Hurricane : That one is DennyP's job.
Tastee : DennyP handles the girls, Hurricane handles the women and I handle the babies...lol
OnePlace : Lol, So are you all single ???
Tastee : yeah we get lots of attention from the girls, but the music comes first
DennyP : Yes ooo, no time
Hurricane : Yeah men, music comes first.

DennyP : The music itself inspires me.
