Exclusive Interview with Zarion(SC)

OP: Introduce Yourself ?

Zarion:I go by the name Nwokocha Daniel. Stage named 'Zarion' A.K.A 'Zarioswag'.

OP: What exactly do you do?

Zarion: I'm a Singer, Song Writer, Producer and Instrumentalist.

OP: Oh, Good. Which are you best at ?

Zarion: Singing and Composing.

OP: How long have you been in the industry ?

Zarion: I'm certain it's been up to 2 years now.

OP: Who introduced you into the industry ?

Zarion:The music industry you mean? Well, I started off a singer from the church choir then basically got exposed through my manager's Show titled 'Mr. Ideal Nigeria'. My first performance there marked my Introduction into the 'industry' as an Artiste.

OP: Were you supported by family ?

Zarion: Yeah I definitely was, to a certain point though.

OP: Does your music affect school ?

Zarion: It certainly does, but I sustain my career. I'm lucky to be one of those artiste who know how to balance Academics with music.
Those are my few but highly essential secrets

OP: What was your first song ?

Zarion: It was never officially released, it was titled 'Party Freaks'.

OP: What inspired the song ?

Zarion: it was a party song and Nigerians are well aware of the fact that party songs don't come as a result of inspiration but let's just say 'My Life style' inspired me into composing it

OP: Life style ? Would you like to share with us ?

Zarion: Hmm, no problem. I'm changed now though but back then I used to be what they call an imaginary 'Party Boy'. Like the term 'party' implies, I used to be very wild and highly creative in my ways of putting my music together.
Meaning, I used to put more time and effort to my music because by then I was still on an Amateur platform but that's all changed now.

OP: How many songs after that ?

Zarion: These are confidential details but I'll let you on it, about 30 or more. Most are not released yet

OP: Artiste's you've worked with ?

Zarion:On my released or un released projects?

OP: Both .

Zarion:On my released records I've worked with my the 'Show Yourself' Crooner named Dakidjosh, Duece-X of wolfskin, Naze, Skyer, my number hook killer AYO. Big S/O to him, GDB and a few others I can't remember right now
The collabo's on my un released record can't be disclosed but I'm certifying you it's nothing you're ready for. Been making arrangements to work with Classiq, L.O.S, Sean Tizzle, Leriq and some other big names. All would be done in time

OP: So what are you to expect from Zario swag ?

Zarion:Urm, 'International'.  That's the theme, once my brand becomes international I'll be fine. International in the sense that I'll be recognised way beyond Nigeria and Africa as a continent. 'Zarioswag' that's gonna be the name in everybody's mouth and mind lol. Working towards all those anyway.

OP: Any last words ?

Zarion:Yeah, shouts to my fam & SCG team. Big ups to my south city Army keeping it real & every supporter out there, I appreciate the support. They the reason why I work harder everyday and night! And yall get ready from my new south city record Titled #Flexin out february, feel free to follow @southcityEnt_ for my details. #zarioswag #peaceout

OP: What do you think of one place ?

Zarion: It's a really cool blog, yall on to bigger things erryday. The latest around actually

OP: God bless

Spyrophreeze takes things up a notch in 2014 by featuring veteran act Sound Sultan on the joint “Salary Work”. This one is a very enjoyable song with that local, infectious sound. Download and share.
